How You Can Help

LVAC is in the process of improving service. The Corps always needs financial support and members. If you are interested in volunteering, contact us and our membership officer will get to you shortly.
If you wish to make a financial contribution, you can click on the Donate button and utilize Helping.org's Service for Non-Profits.

Refinishing the basement for a storage area and office space

We are refinishing our basement in order to move supplies out of the office area as well as create a smaller office for the Quartermaster and Training Officer. The office upstairs will become better utilized when it can fit more than 3 people.

In-Kind Gifts are deductible based on estimated value of the product or service at the time of donation.

If you would like to make a cash or in-kind donation, please contact Gerard Buonincontri, Capt, via Email or call Lindenwood VAC at (718) 738-3029.

Developing Advanced Life Support Service

LVAC has several Paramedics who are volunteers. With the increasing numbers of Paramedics, the Corps feels that it would be beneficial to our communities to add Advanced Life Support Services that will add upon our Basic Life Support service that we currently provide.

Advanced Life Support is an expensive proposition, however, the expense is worth saving more lives. The Corps estimates the total cost of implementing ALS to be in the range of $50,000, with the largest chunk being a manual defibrillator, which costs upwards of $15,000. ALS service provides the highest level of pre-hospital care available in New York State and includes medication administration, IV Therapy, and Intubation.
